The closest images ever taken of the sun have been unveiled by NASA and the European Space Agency (ESA), unveiling omnipresent miniature solar flares, dubbed “campfires.” Data collected from NASA and the European Space Agency’s seven-year mission will help scientists unlock the secrets to some of the most puzzling mysteries about the object at the center of our solar system.
