A Ukrainian candlemaker had some of her wares on hand when the lights went out in her neighbourhood in Kyiv after Russia launched its biggest air strikes against Ukraine on October 10 and 11, 2022. She is expanding her candle production after the Ukrainian government urged citizens to prepare for a potentially harsh winter ahead.
