Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Kherson after Russia announced it had completed its withdrawal from the region on November 11, 2022. He said the recapture of the southern city was the “beginning of the end” of the Russian invasion of eastern Ukraine which started in February. Zelensky also vowed that Ukraine would retake the remaining occupied lands.
