Intense fighting has broken out in Sudan’s capital Khartoum, with dozens of civilians and soldiers alike reported killed since fighting began on April 15, 2023. Clashes between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for control of the country have spilled into cities across the nation, prompting concern from both its neighbours and Western countries.
